We remodel kitchens and baths with custom cabinetry, premium stone, and designs that respect original detailing while introducing modern comfort, efficiency, and function.

Home & Room Additions

We design additions and expansions that blend seamlessly with historic architecture, adding usable space while meeting LA zoning and, where applicable, Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ) design standards.

ADU Construction & Garage Conversions in Mid-Wilshire

Mid-Wilshire’s central location and cultural draw make accessory dwelling units a smart investment for rental income or flexible living. We build detached ADUs, attached units, and garage conversions designed to complement the area’s historic character.

Our team manages the full process with LADBS, engineering each unit for structural performance and Title 24 energy compliance while honoring setbacks, height limits, and any applicable HPOZ review. Local expertise keeps historic-area projects on track.

Every unit is finished to the same standard as our custom homes, with design that respects the surrounding streetscape.

Navigating Mid-Wilshire Permits & Building Codes

As part of the City of Los Angeles, Mid-Wilshire projects are permitted through the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS), and portions of the area fall within Historic Preservation Overlay Zones (HPOZ) that require additional design review. Missing that step can stall a project for months.

We manage the entire permit lifecycle, including HPOZ review where required, and build to full compliance with California HCD standards and Title 24 energy-efficiency requirements. From seismic upgrades of older structures to high-performance systems, our work is designed to pass LADBS plan check the first time.
